The Quest Is Over...
UK melodic metal outfit Power Quest will be calling time on their 12 year existence in 2013. Keyboardist and founder member Steve Williams commented on the news as follows: "I've decided that now is the time to say that the Quest is over..."
The Band
Power Quest was conceived in March 2001 by keyboardist Steve Williams after he left London power metal heroes "DragonHeart" (which is now DragonForce) with fellow band mate Steve Scott (ex-Shadowkeep and ex-DragonHeart) taking care of bass duties.
The first, self titled 2 track demo was recorded and uploaded onto MP3.com early 2001. Recording was supported by ZP and Sam Totman (currently with Dragonforce), along with Adam Bickers on Guitar.
